Echeveria 'Perle von Nurnberg'

Echeveria 'Perle von Nurnberg'Echeveria 'Perle Von Nürnberg' is an attractive succulent with grey-pink leaves that appear to have a white powdery frosting. These leaves taper gradually to a point, overlapping gracefully in a rosette which grows to 6 inches in diameter. Its summer blooming flowers emerge with salmon-pink exteriors and yellow interiors from 1 foot long red stems.

Echeveria 'Perle Von Nürnberg' requires good drainage whether in the ground or in a container, likes in full sun, or part shade or a bright location indoors. Its pink colors increases with bright light. It is hardy to 25°F and can handle considerable heat as well.

Echeveria 'Perle Von Nürnberg' is a cross between Echeveria gibbiflora 'Metalica' x Echeveria elegans, created by renowned succulent horticulturalist Richard Graessner of Perleberg, Germany in the 1930's.
