Zamia herrerae grows in El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Chiapas, Mexico. It is an understory plant, growing in forests up to 2500 feet in elevation.
You'll see in the pictures above our seedlings, as well as a 4-5 year old plant, with beautiful long leaves (leaflets are 8+ inches).
This plant is quite rare and thus easily endangered in the wild.
