| Autumn 2004 Seedling SaleWe have some significant autumn savings on healthy plants we've grown from seed over the past 2 years. You can benefit from our abundant supply Since late 2001, we have been importing seed from several African countries. This has been part of our mission to preserve cycads through propagation. Now there are literally tens of thousands of seedlings in our propagation houses looking for new homes. Some of these rare plants have not been available before in the U.S.A. in the quantities we now have available. So, we have decided to turn our surplus into our customers' benefit. For a limited time, we are offering the following specials: WHAT IS CAUDEX SIZE? You’ll notice we list and price cycads by caudex size. The caudex is a cycad’s woody, bulblike trunk, and caudex size is a good measure of cycad age. The chart below can give you a rough idea of how this translates to pot size.
