| Special Seed OfferingWe have just obtained limited quantities of seeds from overseas suppliers. Some of these are "in the air", on their way to the USA as of this writing, in early August 2004, so we are offering special pre-import prices on several species, many of which are not available anywhere else in the USA at these prices. We are offering these seeds in minimum lots of 10 seeds each. Smaller quantities may be obtained shortly via the Cycad Society Seed Bank. Please look at some of these specials below:
WHAT IS CAUDEX SIZE? You’ll notice we list and price cycads by caudex size. The caudex is a cycad’s woody, bulblike trunk, and caudex size is a good measure of cycad age. The chart below can give you a rough idea of how this translates to pot size.
