Presentation Nov. 2, 2007<br>at Palomar CollegePlant Presentations and Plant Sale at Palomar College, San Marcos CA (North San Diego County)

On November 2, The Palomar College Arboretum will host its 1st Annual Friends of the Palomar College Arboretum Plant and Book Sale.

From 10 AM to 12 Noon, there will also be presentations, including one at 10AM that I'll be giving on Cycad Propagation and Care. Cycads and Palms will be sold and auctioned during the afternoon.

WHAT IS CAUDEX SIZE?

You’ll notice we list and price cycads by caudex size. The caudex is a cycad’s woody, bulblike trunk, and caudex size is a good measure of cycad age. The chart below can give you a rough idea of how this translates to pot size.
