Limited Edition Decoupage from Oil Paintings: 3-Dimensional Paper Porcelain Decoupage. The Decoupage method of art dates back to the 14th Century, originating in Great Britain.
Five to 8 identical color photographic reproductions of each painting were made. Then, individual pieces of each layer were carved and cut, which creates a 3-dimensional effect. Each individual piece was separately shaped and mounted onto the previous copy. Finally, each piece was mounted onto the background copy.
High quality paper was used in this process, and the porcelain glaze also protects the color and the final product.
The artwork is exquisitely framed, which enhances the value and presentation.
