Pollen Policy
Our policy is based on the philosophy of sharing, so if you send us pollen, we'll give you 50% of the seed we generate from it. Likewise, if we send you pollen, you will send us 50% of the seed you generate. We always offer to include the floaters when we send you seed, so that you know we're doing our share. Likewise, we'd hope you'll offer to send us your floaters, too.

It would be great to increase the worldwide population of these species. Please email us at info@cycads.com if you have or need a match for any of these. In your email, please write in the Subject line the species and sex of the cone, if you know them.

Thanks.

Please Note: All sales are limited to items available in stock

WHAT IS CAUDEX SIZE?

You’ll notice we list and price cycads by caudex size. The caudex is a cycad’s woody, bulblike trunk, and caudex size is a good measure of cycad age. The chart below can give you a rough idea of how this translates to pot size.

Approximate
Caudex Size
Container
Size
Up to 1 Inch 1-2 Gallon
1 Inch to 3 Inch 3-5 Gallon
3 Inches to 7 Inches 15 Gallon
7 Inches and Up 24 Inch Box
