We are pleased to announce the availability of 2 new books which discuss the cycads and other flora of Mozambique. Plus, there is a revised and updated edition of Speculations on the Encephalartos Species of Mozambique. We are also offering a discounted 3-Book Special. All these books are for pre-order, with a deadline date of September 30 to qualify for the first printing. Book shipment will take place in October-November.

Each book has both the Portuguese and English text in it.

You’ll notice we list and price cycads by caudex size. The caudex is a cycad’s woody, bulblike trunk, and caudex size is a good measure of cycad age. The chart below can give you a rough idea of how this translates to pot size.
