Because we get new materials in all the time, if you would like us to notify you when the item is restocked please send an email with your request to: info@cycads.com This rare cycad from southeastern Congo is one of a group of dwarf central African species (the E. poggei complex) that also includes E. delucanus, E. schmitzii and E. schaijesii. It is distinguished by its short bluish green leaves with a short clear petiole and its dark green to bluish green cones. WHAT IS CAUDEX SIZE? You’ll notice we list and price cycads by caudex size. The caudex is a cycad’s woody, bulblike trunk, and caudex size is a good measure of cycad age. The chart below can give you a rough idea of how this translates to pot size.
