| Encephalartos dyerianus SeedlingsThis item is currently out of stock. Please click here for larger plants of this species. Because we get new materials in all the time, if you would like us to notify you when the item is restocked please send an email with your request to: info@cycads.com This rare blue cycad is native to a single granite hill in the Lowveld, in the North Eastern portion of South Africa. It puts forth straight blue leaves sometimes with slightly twisted or recurved tips. Its the leaflets usually have 1-2 spines on each margin. At maturity, it produces yellow, smooth cones. We were able to get just a few rare seeds of this species from one of our South African suppliers. WHAT IS CAUDEX SIZE? You’ll notice we list and price cycads by caudex size. The caudex is a cycad’s woody, bulblike trunk, and caudex size is a good measure of cycad age. The chart below can give you a rough idea of how this translates to pot size.
