Echeveria SpeciesLike many plant lovers, we’ve long admired Echeveria species for their compact, eye-catching rosettes. But when we came across Echeveria sp. “Afterglow,” we couldn’t believe how beautiful their iridescent-looking pink and lavender leaves look beside our silver and blue cycads.

It’s easy to see why these plants are one of the most popular items at our nursery.


WHAT IS CAUDEX SIZE?

You’ll notice we list and price cycads by caudex size. The caudex is a cycad’s woody, bulblike trunk, and caudex size is a good measure of cycad age. The chart below can give you a rough idea of how this translates to pot size.
