Echeveria Species

Echeveria SpeciesLike many plant lovers, we’ve long admired Echeveria species for their compact, eye-catching rosettes. Echeveria species, with their often iridescent leaves, look great beside silver and blue cycads. These are great plants for a sunny window indoors, too.

In habitat, Echeverias grow at higher altitudes, generally among rock outcroppings, where water drains quickly past their roots. So, they should be planted in porous soil to provide good drainage. Also, Echeveria plants will prefer a decent amount of light to prevent etiolation or stretching of their leaves.
