Echeveria “Afterglow” is a very attractive vigorous succulent with wide powdery pink-lavender leaves with bright pink edging forming a remarkable color mix. It has a short stem and a 12-16 inch wide rosette. Echeveria “Afterglow” should be planted in full sun or only part day shade for its best display of color. It does well in well drained soil. It is hardy to at least mid 20’s.
This species originates from a cross between Echeveria cante and Echeveria shaviana.
