This Thursday evening, November 1, we will be giving a talk on Cycad Horticulture and How to Better Grow Garden Cycads, followed by a plant sale and auction, at the Quail Botanical Gardens in Encinitas, California. This is part of the Quail's Certification Program in Cycads this Fall.
We're going to get into detail about how to propagate, grow and nurture cycads, whether in a greenhouse or your back yard.
After the talk, we'll have a selection of cycads available for sale and auction. People who have been to one of these events know there are some serious values to be had, because we auction off all the plants that people do not purchase prior to the auction, often starting at the plants' wholesale value. You'll want to be there to take advantage of this and add some nice plants to your garden at a reasonable price.
If you want to attend, please call the Quail, because advance registration is required. Please call 760/ 436-3036 x206.
