This is a medium-sized cycad which grows in dry woodlands on a sandstone formation in northern Thailand. It grows to have a fairly slender trunk with a massively swollen base, resembling an Elephant's foot. It has grey-green leaves. This species has only recently been described and is considered highly endangered in its natural habitat.
Please Note: All sales are limited to items available in stock at the time of your purchase and are subject to prior sale.
You’ll notice we list and price cycads by caudex size. The caudex is a cycad’s woody, bulblike trunk, and caudex size is a good measure of cycad age. The chart below can give you a rough idea of how this translates to pot size.
