
This cycad, formerly know as Cycas chamberlainii, is native to the Philippines. It grows to 15 feet tall, with numerous leaves to about 8 feet long.
Cycas riuminiana was named after the president of the Moscow Horticultural Society, Riumin, and described in 1863 from plants cultivated in Moscow and Leningrad. It prefers a warm, sheltered, and moist location.
