Cereus peruvianus "Monstrose" (Cereus peruvianus Monstrosus) is a monstrose-growing form of the genus Cereus peruvianus, also known as the Monstrose Apple Cactus and the Monstrose Cactus. Cereus peruvianus monstrose is an ornamental perennial plant which growswell in desert, mediterranean or subtropical climates.
Its form is a crest, or series of crests emerging from an erect, grey-green stem. It tends to contain few, with the edge of its stems becoming wavy, spiral or a combination of the two forms.
Cereus peruvianus "Monstrose" produces white flowers, often with pink edges, 4 inches in diameter. Its edible fruit can be red, pink, purple or orange, with edible seeds.
