| CUSTOMERS FROM OUTSIDE OF U.S.A.--Please Read This Before you Order!!Please Note: If you are a buyer from outside the USA, there may be other rules and documentation necessary for us to export seeds or plants to you. Any costs related to necessary permits and/or documentation are the responsibility of the buyer. In the case of all cycad plants, and CITES Appendix I seeds, (Encephalartos, Stangeria and Ceratozamia), we can only ship these to addresses in the USA. If you wish us to export CITES II seeds outside of the USA, we charge a $75 non-refundable Phytosanitary Inspection & Preparation fee, to obtain the necessary permits for shipment outside the USA. If you have any questions on this, please email us at info@cycads.com BEFORE placing your order. Otherwise, we will charge your credit card for $75 in order to begin preparing your shipment. CITES Appendix II Seeds which believe can be shipped currently without a CITES permit include: Bowenia species Cycas species (except for Cycas beddomei) Dioon species Lepidozamia species Macrozamia species Zamia species All other cycad seeds require CITES permits, which we are not obtaining at this time for seeds. WHAT IS CAUDEX SIZE? You’ll notice we list and price cycads by caudex size. The caudex is a cycad’s woody, bulblike trunk, and caudex size is a good measure of cycad age. The chart below can give you a rough idea of how this translates to pot size.
